Therapy
At CBT Fort Lauderdale we offer individual therapy, intensive therapy, and family sessions. Patients will be thoroughly evaluated and each service is designed to address your real-world concerns. Dr. Franklin provides therapy that is both compassionate and efficient so that you can develop strategies to apply in your life. Patients can expect Dr. Franklin to listen carefully, understand their unique challenges, and offer a clear framework for treatment. Her goal is not only to provide support, but to help her patients make measurable progress in the areas that matter most to them.

Clinical intake (60min)
A clinical intake is the logical first step in the treatment process. Its purpose is to ensure that all aspects of your experience are thoroughly understood and that a solid conceptualization of the problems can be developed for you and addressed in a treatment plan.
This is very important: right concept, right treatment. During an intake the clinician will ask you questions about your history, symptoms and needs, as well as discussing what to expect from therapy.

Individual therapy (45min)
Receiving expert treatment and support will help you address the issues that cause problems for you and will help you achieve meaningful and lasting change. Individual therapy can take place in the office or in the community, based on your clinical need.
The personal nuance to your therapy will ensure that you overcome your specific challenges, increase your ability to emotionally regulate, and improve your quality of life. Get excited about getting better!

Intensives
Intensive treatment is an accelerated, high-impact-short-term intervention that delivers targeted evidence-based care over 8-14 days to address a specific problem with therapeutic intensity.
Intensives are designed to jumpstart progress or break through treatment plateaus when traditional pacing isn’t enough.

Family and Parent Coaching
Family sessions and parent coaching are designed to complement the ongoing individual therapy of an adolescent or young adult patient.
The session provides a structured, supportive space where family members—typically parents or caregivers, and sometimes siblings—can come together to explore the various factors that may be involved in creating a positive impact to the patient's life. This helps patients to continue to reach their therapy goals and improve their well-being.

Support Groups
CBT Fort Lauderdale’s support groups for Anxiety, OCD and related issues are designed to be both practical and empowering. In these groups, you’ll meet others who truly “get it” — people who understand what it’s like to live with intrusive thoughts, constant worry, or exhausting compulsions, and to have almost every facet of life impacted by such a problem. Each session combines real conversation with evidence-based tools, so you not only feel supported but also walk away with strategies you can actually use. It’s a chance to break out of isolation, learn alongside others, and tackle challenges together in a space that’s structured, focused, and surprisingly motivating.
